Governor Maximiliano Pullaro participated today in the tender for the construction of 64 homes in the La Tablada neighborhood of Rosario, tasks that have an official budget of $3,410,809,332.24 and a completion period of 14 months, and for which Five bidding companies presented.
During the event, which took place in the Southern Zone Delegation of the Provincial Directorate of Housing and Urban Planning, the governor remarked that “at a very difficult time in Argentina and the province, where the national view is that public works It is an expense and it must be cut, for us public works are the engine of development, and from that place we are deeply convinced that when there is an economic recession, high levels of inflation and there is a blow to the economy, we must take great care of the workers who live off of public works, of which there are 40,000 in the province of Santa Fe, and to the companies that work permanently with the State."
“That is why we made the decision to continue with many works that had been started,” Pullaro continued, “to begin new works, and to obtain investments and financing to carry out an important investment this year: when there is a cut in public works everywhere. , we are going to invest this year around 450 million dollars, 450,000 million pesos, and that will allow us to maintain the source of work, maintain the level of execution in the province, but fundamentally maintain our economy and that in Santa Fe "There is not an impact as strong as the one that is being experienced and that is going to be seen at the national level," he concluded.
For his part, Enrico celebrated “the political decision of Governor Maximiliano Pullaro to advance with the urbanization of the neighborhood and access to decent housing, as part of a comprehensive masterplan for the reconversion of this important sector of Rosario. For our management, access to housing is a State policy. The governor asked us to address the most important needs of the people and decent housing constitutes the most important habitat for a person.”
The housing units - whose work was put out to tender in 2021 and 2022 but the offers were well above the official budget - will be located on the lot delimited by Grandoli, Bv. Seguí, Korczac Passage and Page Passage, and will be developed on the ground floor and three floors. They will have 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms and all the necessary basic infrastructure. In addition, there will be 90 parking bays.
