Gruner Renewable Energy has secured multiple projects worth Rs 1,500 crore for compressed biogas (CBG) plants across the country. Gruner has bagged 11 projects from a leading business conglomerate valued at Rs 1,100 crore and 19 other projects, worth Rs 400 crore from individual business leaders
The firm will develop the plants, which will collectively contribute to an annual production of over 88,000 tonne of CBG for India. To ensure smooth operations of these projects, around 900 professionals and skilled labour will be added to the workforce, reaching 2,500 employees including site workers by the next quarter.
The CBG plants will be deployed at various locations including the corporate office in Noida, NCR. The CBG plants are strategically located across various cities, including Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Satna in Madhya Pradesh, Balasore in Odisha, Navsari in Gujarat, Yavatmal in Maharashtra, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh, and others.
This initiative is expected to drive growth and innovation in the renewable energy segment, while contributing significantly to the countrys sustainable development goals. |
