GreenCape launched their latest market intelligence reports into large-scale renewable energy, electric vehicles and energy as a service today, showcasing the opportunities for investment in key renewable Energy (RE) sectors in South Africa.
Large-scale renewable energy procurement
Speaking at the launch, GreenCape Energy Programme Manager Jack Radmore pointed out that Market Intelligence Reports (MIRs) are a product of thousands of market engagements with key stakeholders to elicit useful insight and produce "robust, realistic and relevant information."
"These reports do put out an exciting number of 32GW of renewable energy by 2030.
"That is a number that should excite and scare us. It will take a lot of work to get there, but there is a lot of opportunity in that space," said Radmore.
