Work Detail The National Environmental License Authority (ANLA) has approved the environmental license for the Amanecer solar park project, with a generation capacity of 150 MW. The authorization paves the way for Voltalia Colombia to proceed with the construction of the solar park, which will also feature a 230 kV Transmission Line connecting to the National Interconnected System. The Amanecer solar park project, developed by Voltalia Colombia, has received the green light from the National Environmental License Authority (ANLA) to proceed with construction. With a generation capacity of 150 MW, the project is poised to contribute to Colombia’s renewable energy infrastructure. In addition to the solar park, the project includes the installation and operation of approximately 343,602 photovoltaic modules, boasting a peak installed power of 192.40 MWp. A 230 kV Transmission Line, with an approximate length of 2.69 km, will facilitate the connection to the National Interconnected System (SIN) at the Purnio electrical substation, operated by ISA-INTERCOLOMBIA. According to ANLA’s Deputy Director of Environmental License Evaluation, Ana María Llorente, the timely approval of the environmental license underscores the entity’s commitment to advancing renewable energy projects. Llorente emphasized that projects with comprehensive and technically sound environmental impact studies can expedite the evaluation process. The approval of the Amanecer solar park project follows closely on the heels of the Puertos de Santander solar project, which received its environmental license last week. The Puertos de Santander project, with a peak installed power of 246.06 MWp, further highlights ANLA’s dedication to facilitating the licensing of renewable energy projects. The approval of the environmental license for the Amanecer solar park project signals a significant milestone in Colombia’s renewable energy journey. With Voltalia Colombia at the helm, the project is set to enhance the country’s solar energy infrastructure while aligning with ANLA’s commitment to promoting sustainable development.
