After updating the budget of the tender launched in November 2023, the Buenos Aires government recommended accepting the offer from the firm Gerónimo Rizzo SA.

This week there was progress from the Buenos Aires government in relation to the public tender launched at the end of 2023 for the award of the defense work of the southern coastal wall of Miramar, an investment that also foresees the generation of more beach in the extended area between the 31 and 35 streets of the main town of the General Alvarado district.
Approved at that time with an official budget of $927,184,026 and an execution period of 910 calendar days; The evaluation committee of the two offers that were presented requested the updating of the prices taking into account the time elapsed between the preparation of the project and the opening of the bidding procedure.
Consequently, the amount of the investment increased and the authorities of the Buenos Aires government issued a recommendation to award the aforementioned tasks to the company Gerónimo Rizzo SA for a total amount of $1,590,354,040 after considering its most convenient proposal for fiscal interest.
To this amount is added the sum of $15,903,540 for the direction and inspection of the work as provided by Law No. 6,021 and another sum of $47,710,621 for the reserve established in Law No. 14,052.
From the Ministry of Infrastructure currently led by Gabriel Katopodis, they established the same execution period of 910 calendar days initially scheduled.
In addition, the awarding of the works to the aforementioned firm includes the approval to grant, after establishing a guarantee, a financial advance of 20% of the contract amount. |
