Pennsylvanias Department of Transportation, PennDOT recently announced that A.P. Construction Inc starts construction on pedestrian bridge and PECO Energy Utility in Philadelphia , at St. Joseph’s University along U.S. 1 (City Avenue)

For those who commute it’s important to be aware of the travel restrictions;
1. From April 1st to April 8th there will be a right lane closure on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) from 59th Street to Lapsley Lane during weekdays. Weekend work might also take place if necessary as decided by the contractor.
2. Following this between April 8th and April 15th there will be a left lane closure for both directions on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Street and Lapsley Lane during weekdays. Weekend work could also be scheduled if needed.
Drivers should expect delays and traffic congestion in the construction areas. Should consider planning alternate routes accordingly. It’s important to note that all planned activities are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
PECO Energy Utility Construction
Along with the pedestrian bridge project at St. Joseph’s University PECO Energy will begin utility construction, on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County starting from April 1st.
During the utility construction project there will be travel restrictions, in place as follows;
Between 9 a.m. And 3 p.m. On weekdays from April 1st to October 30th there will be a lane closure on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Church Road and Old Wynnewood Road. |
