South Eastern Railway invites bids from panel agencies for the installation of 8.383 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
South Eastern Railway (SER) has initiated a bidding process to enlist agencies for the establishment of 8.383 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power projects across Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. These projects will operate under public-private partnerships based on the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer model.
The two capacity ranges into which the projects will be divided are (i) above 10 kW and up to 50 kW and (ii) above 50 kW and up to 100 kW. Bidders are eligible to submit proposals for either or both capacity categories, within one state or across multiple states.
Project completion is expected within 240 days from the issuance of the work order, with developers responsible for comprehensive operation and maintenance services over 25 years.
Bid submission deadline is April 30, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the same day. Bidders are required to furnish an earnest money deposit of ?10.7 lakh/ MW of the quoted capacity.
The empanelment period will be one year, with a potential extension for another year based on performance and requests from zonal railways. |
