Equinor has awarded ocean services provider DeepOcean a framework agreement for marine services encompassing subsea intervention and repair contingency for subsea pipelines, structures, and high voltage cables for both offshore renewables and oil and gas fields.
The agreement spans four years, with options to extend it for up to four additional years. DeepOcean will oversee contract delivery from its office in Haugesund, Norway, with support from the companys international operations.
For offshore renewable energy fields, the agreement encompasses planned or unplanned marine services related to subsea high voltage cables. Geographically, the agreement is applicable for work on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally for planned Equinor work, as well as for contingency work for the PRSI pool members. The PRSI pool comprises 23 energy companies that manage their offshore pipeline and power cable repair contingency through the pool. |
