The construction of the new Tartagal – General Mosconi aqueduct is 81 percent complete. This is an important work that will optimize the drinking water service in the area. It is executed by the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Province and will benefit more than 20 thousand inhabitants.

The project consists of the construction of the PVC aqueduct (diameter 355 millimeters), with a length of 11.7 kilometers, to convey water flows from the new Tartagal Water Treatment Plant (junction at the intersection of Echeverría and San Lorenzo streets) to the Las Lomitas Cistern , in General Mosconi.
They will thus complement the 120 cubic meters per hour that arrive from the Itiyuro System and will also allow maintaining the cistern with an adequate water level so as not to take shifts.
