Work Detail |
The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has announced its plans to empanel agencies for conducting site studies essential for drafting Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for the development of solar PV plants. This initiative includes both ground-mounted and floating solar PV plants, along with the Plant Health Audit of existing solar PV installations. SECI aims to collaborate with experienced and competent agencies for various project phases, such as feasibility studies, pre-bid engineering, detailed design, and project management.
The empanelment period is set for five years from the date the Notification of Empanelment (NoE) is issued, with an option to extend for an additional two years. This extension is contingent on the satisfactory performance of the agencies and a mutual agreement between both parties.
Interested agencies are required to pay a non-refundable bid processing fee of INR 6,000 (inclusive of GST), which can be paid via NEFT/RTGS transfer to SECI’s account or through Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque payable at New Delhi. The deadline for bid submission is April 19, 2024, which is also the date scheduled for bid opening.
SECI’s request for empanelment (RfE) specifies that bids can be submitted for one or more categories—Category A, B, and C—with empanelment being category-specific. Agencies selected through this RfE will be responsible for conducting site studies and preparing DPRs as outlined in the RfE document. Bidders are advised to adhere strictly to the RfE specifications, as any deviation may lead to bid rejection. |
