Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) Calls for Bids for Design, Engineering, Procurement & Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning, and Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance of a 30 MW (AC) Rooftop Solar PV Plant on the RESCO Model, spanning 25 years. This initiative covers both Phase-I & II, targeting designated Government Buildings in Goa.
The scope of the project encompasses various tasks, including but not limited to identifying and surveying rooftop locations, assessing solar potential, finalizing feasibility reports, designing, engineering, manufacturing, supplying, storing, carrying out civil work, erecting structures, testing, commissioning, submitting project proposals, and ensuring quality control for the rooftop solar PV project.
The last date to submit the bids is 26 April 2024. Bids will be opened on 29 April 2024.
Additionally, it includes operation and maintenance (O&M) for a duration of 25 years following project commissioning.
Bidders must provide a bid security amount of ? 50 lakh.
The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) amounting to ?20 lakh per MWp upon receipt of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from GEDA.
The successful bidder is required to generate a minimum of 1400 kWh per kWp from the solar power plant.
Bidders are encouraged to propose feasible rooftop solar projects for existing Government Buildings listed in the RFP or for newly identified Government Buildings
The tariff discovered will be compensated by the Goa Electricity Department (GED), Government of Goa. Additionally, 5 paisa per kWh of the discovered tariff will serve as facilitation fees for GEDA, to be paid by the successful bidder to GEDA throughout the project’s contract period as outlined in the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between GED and the successful bidder.
