Work Detail In a pioneering venture, Aptech Africa is spearheading a mission to provide sustainable energy solutions to isolated communities in Equatorial Guinea. Through the deployment of 11 solar systems, Aptech Africa is not only brightening lives but also catalyzing development, setting the stage for a more promising future. The overarching goal is to empower these communities with dependable and clean energy sources. Aptech Africa implemented solar systems in 11 distinct villages, featuring capacities of 5kWp, 15kWp, and 20kWp, coupled with battery energy storage ranging from 12kWh to 36kWh. Among these, one system is hybrid, while the rest are standalone systems coexisting with generators and the existing grid. The installation utilized Ulica solar modules, Growatt inverters, and Ritar lead acid batteries. The systems encompassed distribution lines situated off-grid, often in challenging and inaccessible terrains. Despite encountering obstacles such as poor road conditions to various sites, the unavailability of necessary accessories in the local market necessitating importation, and the limited expertise of the local support team in Equatorial Guinea, the installations were successfully completed within the stipulated timeframe. The implemented solar systems are poised to benefit the residents of the 11 villages, fostering improved education facilities with consistent power supply, elevated healthcare services, community empowerment, and environmental conservation.
