Maxwell Stanley will join several other speakers from government and private organisations
A speaker from the Department of Energy has been confirmed to speak at the forthcoming 2024 edition of the Energy & Sustainability Summit, the Big Project Middle East editorial team has confirmed. Maxwell Stanley will present a session on how behavioural science can be used by any organisation to achieve sustainability goals.
25 speakers have been confirmed to speak at the annual summit, including senior speakers from the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Expo City Dubai and Masdar City, the editorial team said. The Energy & Sustainability Summit is scheduled to take place at the Habtoor Grand Resort in JBR, Dubai on 7 March. Attendance to the event is complementary but mandatory via registration here – spaces are extremely limited. The event will be the third edition of the event, which was first launched by Big Project Middle East in 2022.
The event’s agenda will focus on several key themes including: how construction and energy stakeholders can make a tangible difference in the journey towards Net Zero post COP28; sustainably sourcing and responsibly disposing of end-of-life assets and materials; transitioning to sustainable, locally sourced materials that can turn buildings and cities into carbon sinks, the rise of waste-to-energy facilities, and looking beyond solar to decarbonise the MENA region’s energy sector.
