The opening of envelopes and the bidding for the repaving works of routes No. 6 and No. 8 were carried out, a transcendental project for the socioeconomic development of Río Negro that will strengthen interprovincial links.
The works are fundamental for the development of the region and the province.

These are key works for the province, since they link the Alto Valle with the Southern Region and allow strengthening strategic productive sectors, promoting tourism, favoring the hydrocarbon and mining industry, streamlining interregional communication and integrate and be a protagonist in national corridors with bioceanic characteristics, such as National Routes No. 22 and No. 23.
With the participation of 19 bidders, the Government opened the envelopes today in Viedma and the tender was chaired by Vice Governor Pedro Pesatti, together with the Minister of Public Works and Services, Alejandro Echarren and the president of Vialidad Rionegrina, Raúl Grün.
The work was tendered in two sections. The first corresponds to Provincial Route 6, from its intersection with National Route 22 to the junction with Provincial Route 68 (east), over 57 kilometers; for which 11 bidders presented themselves. Meanwhile, for the second corresponding to No. 8, from the junction of 68 to La Esperanza, with an extension of 128 kilometers, the envelopes of a total of 8 companies were opened.
Minister Echarren highlighted the work of the Vialidad Rionegrina technical team and contextualized the difficult situation that public works are going through at the national level. He highlighted that in Río Negro “we have a present State, a State that works on the needs that the neighbors have,” he added.
“A few days ago we were with the Governor inaugurating gas works in El Bolsón, we have to inaugurate gas works in Darwin, in Godoy, we were inaugurating the Conesa transformer station and the Energy building in Cipolletti, with which from the Government We have considered, above all things, trying to maintain the works in Río Negro with great effort.”
For his part, Pesatti stated that “public works are inseparable from one of the roles that the State has to fulfill and cannot delegate. Especially in a province as large as ours and in the Southern Region, it is essential to develop with state investment.
“The 6 and 8 are routes that are going to improve the dynamics of our development and it is important that we can be advancing in the field of public works in a context as complex as the current one,” remarked the Lieutenant Governor.
Present at the event were the Minister of Government, Modernization, Tourism and Labor, Federico Lutz, the deputy Agustín Domingo, the communal head of Los Menucos, Mabel Yahuar, the Commissioner of Development of El Cuy, Jesus Peña, the General Accountant, Nancy Pico, the Ombudsman, Adriana Santagatti, and the legislators Facundo López and Soraya Yahuar.
