In order to evacuate the water that circulates along San Luis Street near the square more quickly and lead to the Esteco canal.
The Municipality, through the Undersecretariat of Contracting, authorized the call for Contracting by Simple Award for the work: “Extension of storm drain in Plaza Gurruchaga – Calle San Luis between Laprida and 10 de Octubre – Macrocenter of the City of Salta.”
It did so through Resolution No. 00025/2024, published last Friday in the Official Gazette.
“This work will be undertaken with the aim of expanding the capacity of the existing drains by increasing the number of current intakes. In order to evacuate with greater speed the water that circulates along San Luis Street near Gurruchaga Square and lead to the Esteco canal, thus alleviating the impact on the neighbors located on this road, who receive the load on their fronts. of water in rainy seasons.
This work arises in response to the numerous requests made by the residents of this sector of the City of Salta, who request flood mitigation measures in this area,” he justifies in the recitals.
The work was budgeted by the Ministry of Public Works at $52,706,391.09 (Pesos Fifty-Two Million Seven Hundred Six Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-One and 09/100).
