This is Electro Duna, a subsidiary of Grupo Energía Bogotá. The installation is located in Llipata, in the Ica region, and is complemented by a BESS system.
The electric energy distribution and marketing company in the South-Middle region of Peru, Electro Dunas, a subsidiary of Grupo Energía Bogotá, has announced the start-up of a 500 KW photovoltaic plant, located in Llipata, district of Palpa, province from Nasca, in the Ica region.
The facility reportedly consists of 768 panels and features a Trina Solar solar tracker system. In addition, a 1MW/2MWh battery energy storage system (BEES) is complemented.
The country manager of Grupo Energía Bogotá, Walter Sciutto Brattoli, states that the storage system improves the efficiency of the system and also improves the load profile and loss profile of the entire network in the area.
It also ensures that this is a plant that will benefit the entire population in the Llipata area, and will help put into practice this model developed as a pilot and easily replicable. |
