Work Detail The Colorado Department of Transportation issued an advisory Sunday for motorists about roadwork in the area.
Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling through these work zones.
U.S. 24 eastbound and westbound east of Johnson Village between mile markers 213.43 and 213.43 will have one-lane alternating traffic for bridge repairs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
Work is expected to continue through October.
U.S. 24 eastbound and westbound on Trout Creek Pass near Johnson Village between mile markers 217.5 and 218.4 will have east- and westbound intermittent lane closures with flagger operations for climbing lane construction from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday.
There are no detours, and the climbing lane is not open to traffic. There will be a two-lane configuration with flaggers. Drivers should expect lane closures and delays for barrier movement and guardrail installation; speeds will be reduced with no width restriction.
Work will continue through November.
U.S. 24 eastbound and westbound on Trout Creek Pass near Johnson Village between mile markers 221.73 and 222.6 will have continuing work on sides of the highway from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, but all lanes are open.
Speed reductions of 40 mph in the work zone and an 11-foot-wide lane restriction will be enforced.
Work continues through October.
U.S. 24 northbound and southbound between U.S. 285 and Harrison Avenue in Buena Vista between mile markers 209.5-211.5 will be affected from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
All north and southbound inside lanes will be closed with turn lane and left lane closures on U.S. 24 from north of Crossman Avenue to Mill Street. Traffic will be shifted to east lanes for signal work, striping and setting long-term closure barriers.
From 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday traffic will shift to east lanes; single lanes and turn lanes will be closed in both directions north and south for sidewalk, curb and gutter work.
