Denmark-based renewable energy inspection services provider Swire Renewable Energy has acquired Altitec Blade Services.
Altitec Blade Services is a UK-based company specialising in wind turbine rotor blade inspection, repair and maintenance.
The deal will expand Swire’s capabilities in blade repair and maintenance within the renewable energy sector.
Altitec operates across countries including the UK, Germany, Australia and South Africa.
It offers services for onshore and offshore wind turbines, serving wind farm owners, turbine original equipment manufacturers and insurers. Swire Renewable Energy CEO Ryan Smith stated: “Following the encouraging growth in our blade maintenance division in the last 12 months, we acquired Altitec to strengthen our blade technical capability, increase our operating capacity and expand our regional footprint.” |
