According to the analysis carried out on the online investment map implemented by the former Ministry of Public Works, the total of public works during the previous administration amounts to 7,276 throughout the country financed by the national government.
The number includes those of Aysa, the National Directorate of Roads, Corredores Viales SA, the National Entity for Water and Sanitation Works (Enohsa) and the National Directorate of Transport Infrastructures, among other organizations. Of that figure, 4,494 were already completed at the end of the previous management, until December 10, 2023.
Another 2,185 works were in progress, with a planned investment of $309,899 million. However, 435 had no physical progress, that is, the works had not begun as of December 6.
They are those that, since La Libertad Avanza, had anticipated that the State would not carry out due to lack of resources.
Of that number, 132 are located in the province of Buenos Aires; 36 in Córdoba; 26 in Santa Fe; 25 in Entre Ríos; 24 in Chaco; 23 in Santa Cruz; 22 in Misiones; 21 in Santiago del Estero; 17 in Tucumán; 15 in Salta; 13 in Chubut, 11 in Catamarca. Except for Córdoba, the rest had Peronist leaders or allies.
Another 11 are located in Corrientes; 10 in Mendoza; 8 in La Rioja; 6 in Jujuy, Neuquén, Río Negro and San Juan; 5 in the Cabin; 4 in St. Louis; 3 in Formosa and La Pampa; and 2 in Tierra del Fuego.
Almost a third (150) of the works that have no physical progress are in the water and sewage sector, whose future was on standby. The majority (66) are located in the province of Buenos Aires. Another 82 works of architecture are without progress and range from sports playgrounds and urban parks to a penitentiary unit in Greater Buenos Aires, and 21 child development centers (CDI), of which 9 are in Chaco, 4 in Misiones and the rest in different provinces of the country.
Likewise, there are 82 road works whose construction had not started at the time of the change of Government; 70 for urban equipment, 15 for education, 12 for housing and 8 for water resources.
Finally, 3 in the health area had not started and everything would indicate that the State is not going to finance: a modular health center in Caba, another in La Rioja and the third in Santa Cruz. |
