The Feira de Santana unit, in the state of Bahia, is also a training, service and technical support center for its Genius Tracker solar trackers. The followers obtained the BNDES certification so that buyers can access FINAME.
GameChange Solar (GCS), a global provider of advanced and cost-effective solar tracking solutions for ground-based photovoltaic plants, has announced the opening of a new factory, training, service and technical support center for its Genius Tracker solar trackers in Feira de Santana, Bay.
The factory, according to a company statement, became operational in November 2023. It has the capacity to produce 2.5 GW of trackers per year and can be expanded to meet additional demand. In addition to serving the local market, the Brazilian factory will be able to supply Genius Tracker units to other Latin American countries.
Additionally, the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) granted FINAME certification for its GameChange Solar Genius Tracker trackers, which assures industry customers that the trackers meet Brazils national content and manufacturing process requirements.
“Having the factory and the service center, in addition to our commercial headquarters in São Paulo, is a great step for us in Brazil.
