Work Detail The municipal government reported that it is carrying out important infrastructure projects in different parts of the district. Currently, some projects are temporarily on hold and the municipal government is analyzing with concern the consequences of budget cuts and the suspension of public works announced by President Javier Milei. In addition to the positive impact on the daily lives of numerous families, public works mobilize the local economy and generate jobs, so its continuity is essential for the growth of Chascomús. The majority have provincial or national financing through agreements with different organizations. Currently, some projects are temporarily on hold and the municipal government is analyzing with concern the consequences of budget cuts and the suspension of public works announced by President Javier Milei. In addition, the evolution of provincial resources is expected during Axel Kicillofs administration. The construction of the Primary Health Care Center (CAPS) for the San Cayetano neighborhood is financed by the Secretariat of Socio-Urban Integration (SISU). Currently, it is in its final phase through the Nuevos Horizontes cooperative, with funds provided by the Municipality. AGREEMENTS WITH NATION Chascomús has nine important works financed through agreements with the national government. Maximum Sewer: Stage 1 consists of a primary system of collectors to relieve the existing system of networks and pumping stations. The budget of 850 million, corresponding to an agreement with ENOHSA. The work is being carried out by the temporary union of the companies MOR and EMAC, which are collecting the necessary materials for its execution. San Cayetano has a budget of 180 million pesos, while Algarrobo, with a cost of 700 million, has already begun work. Both are carried out by the local company GyC with financing from the Secretariat of Socio-Urban Integration of the Nation. Asphalt May 30: The company GyC Construcciones began stage 1 with a budget of 95 million and is in recess with progress close to 7%. The second stage (500 million pesos) has not yet begun. Both stages have financial contributions from the National Secretariat of Public Works. School 56: The 1,200 square meter building is in recess with progress close to 10%. The company Paincorpo Sur carries it out with a budget of 400 million pesos, provided by the Ministry of Education of the Nation. La Casita: The expansion of the municipal home, financed by the Ministry of Social Development, is underway with a budget of 62 million pesos. Projects without definitions: Through an agreement with the National Sports Secretariat, the construction of a skatepark and a mini-stadium was put out to tender, both without definitions regarding their execution. WORKS WITH PROVINCE 16 Homes: Financed by the Bonaerense II Program, they are located on a property between Arturo Jauretche and Hipólito Yrigoyen streets. The Playa Construcciones company is executing the 16 houses, with progress of more than 70%, currently in recess. Improvements for the Escribano neighborhood: Executed by GyC SA, they are in recess in their final stage with a progress of 90%. The comprehensive project includes paving, the installation of 6,700 linear meters of curb and 22 drains. The financing corresponds 65% to the provincial government through the Municipal Infrastructure Fund and the rest is provided by the Municipality. Asphalt for the Escribano neighborhood: Covers the interior streets, with a budget of 250 million pesos (corresponding to the Municipalities to Work program). It was awarded to the firm GyC SA and has formally begun with the payment of the financial advance, currently in recess. Coastal Defense: The first section, corresponding to the stair sector located next to the Tourist Building, has progressed more than 40% of the projected works. At this time it is in recess awaiting the resolution of the corresponding agreement. Chascomús University Center: The building, budgeted at 30 million pesos, financed by the Puentes program, is being executed by Progradior in the 30 de Mayo neighborhood. The educational space is being built in the 30 de Mayo neighborhood and in its first stage, two classrooms will be built and the connection by a path with the Comprehensive Community Center (CIC) located on an adjacent plot. -Housing: Through two tenders, 38 houses are planned for the San Luis neighborhood (800 million) and 58 for May 30 (1,160 million). Both were pre-awarded to Playa Construcciones and have not yet started. -Procrear Drain: In this case, the project corresponding to the infrastructure works for 344 lots with services that will be used for housing within the framework of the Procrear II Plan, valued at 500 million pesos, was presented. WORKS MANAGED BY THE MAYOR AND EXECUTED DIRECTLY BY NATION AND PROVINCE -Wastewater Plant: It has an updated budget of more than 4 billion pesos and is one of the largest that the province currently has in progress. The temporary union of companies CPC SA – ECOSUR BAHIA SA is carrying out the tasks. -Lots with PROCREAR Services: This is a property that has a total area of ??144,246 square meters where 352 lots are being generated with quality infrastructure, service areas, opening of streets and green spaces. The work is carried out by the local firm Playa Construcciones and has an updated budget of approximately 2 billion pesos. In addition, the work to provide natural gas to this new neighborhood has already been put out to tender. CAPS Barrio Iporá: This is a 500 square meter building that will have six offices that will be able to serve simultaneously. It was awarded to the firm PYPSA SA and is currently “neutralized.”
