Competitive values ??for the next dredging campaigns in the ports of Ingeniero White, Galván and Rosales
On Friday, October 11, the contract was signed between the Management Consortium of the Port of Bahía Blanca and Compañía Sudamericana de Dragados SA for the periodic maintenance dredging works at the docking sites of the ports of Ingeniero White, Galván and Rosales, with the corresponding accesses and maneuvering areas, within the framework of Public Tender No. 03-CGPBB/2019. In the legal act certified by the notary Silvia Suarez Bras, the CGPBB was represented by the president, Dr. Miguel Donadío and its designated secretary director, Eng. Pablo Pussetto, while the other party was represented by Eng. Tim Huyge.
The total execution of the contracted dredging works reaches the sum of US$ 6,462,450 + VAT, with an execution period of 27 months from the signing of the respective contract. The execution period for each of the dredging campaigns contracted is agreed upon in 50 consecutive days. They will begin during the months of April and October of each year and the work will be carried out using equipment that uses the injection technique. water.The CGPBB reserves the right to extend the original deadline, in order to carry out an additional campaign, after the 5 campaigns planned for the total work have been completed.
It was also established that the contracting company must carry out hydrographic surveys of the initial conditions of the sites and areas indicated in the technical specifications, prior to the start of the dredging tasks, as well as control surveys during execution and those that allow the receipt of each stage, after all the work has been executed.
Donadío, as the main representative of the board of directors, expressed “Throughout these months of management we have carried out transparent tenders in which companies have been able to compete freely and thereby obtain considerable reductions in port costs, for example, in beacon contracts and service. operation of the flammable posts. The tenders related to dredging have not been the exception and were developed under the protection of legality, neutrality and impartiality, giving priority to the interests of the port of Bahía Blanca.”
The Minister of Production of the Province of Buenos Aires, Javier Tizado, supported the work carried out by the Bahía Blanca Port Management Consortium and explained: “The Port of Bahía Blanca is in a position to award the contracts corresponding to the tenders for dredged to the companies that presented the best offers.
