Konkan Railway Corporation (KRCL) has issued a tender for the construction of twin tube unidirectional tunnel road project (two-lanes in each traffic direction) in the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala.
The work for the proposed twin tunnel includes a four-lane approach road for direct connectivity between Anakkampoyil-kalladi-Meppadi from km 0.460 to km 8.735, for a project length of 8.275 km, under Package-II.
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract has a development cost of Rs 1,643.33 crore, and is to be completed within 48 months form the appointed date.
The due date for bid submission is 23 February, 2024. |
