The Ministry of Works, Public Services and Water of Santiago del Estero has approved the technical documentation and the specifications and general conditions for paving Avenida 9 de Julio in the town of Los Juríes. The project will have an official budget of $88,971,959.00 and an execution period of 240 calendar days.
The Ministry of Works, Public Services and Water of Santiago del Estero has given the green light to an important infrastructure project for the city. This is the approval for the paving on Avenida 9 de Julio, located in the town of Los Juríes, within the Taboada Department. The Call for Public and Written Bid No. 29/2023 contemplates the execution of a simple concrete road, with an integral curb and intersections. In addition, it includes the preparation of the subgrade, provision of materials, sawing and sealing of joints, as well as the construction of the curb, among other works detailed in the Descriptive Report. What stands out about this initiative is its scope and its impact on local infrastructure. The official budget assigned for this work amounts to the considerable sum of $88,971,959.00, and the execution of the project is expected to take 240 calendar days. It is important to highlight that the approval of this project has followed a rigorous review and evaluation process. The Provincial Court of Accounts, in its RETCC – 2023 – 697 – E – GDESDE – TDEC dated 06/15/2023, declared the absence of observations, supporting the viability of the project. This criterion was shared by the State Prosecutors Office through IF – 2023 – 06059603 – GDESDE – FDE dated 06/22/2023. In a context in which investment in infrastructure is fundamental for the development and improvement of the populations quality of life, this approval is a significant step for this city.
