Work Detail The government of the province of Santa Fe negotiated with the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation contributions for $926,265,996 to improve transportation infrastructure, promoting and facilitating the connectivity of the cities of Rafaela, Las Parejas, Gálvez, Tostado, Esperanza, Pérez and Reconquista. It was during an event led by the Minister of National Transportation, Alexis Guerrera, in which the Minister of Environment and Change, Erica Gonnet, participated; the Secretary of Federal Management, Candela González del Pino, and the authorities of said localities. With an investment of close to $400 million, technical and financial assistance agreements were signed for the renovation of bus terminals in the municipalities of Las Parejas, Rafaela, Tostado and Gálvez. In addition, agreements were signed for the implementation of Ciclovía Networks in the towns of Pérez, Esperanza and Reconquista for an investment of more than $540 million, which will promote the use of non-motorized, accessible, healthy, safe and inclusive means of transportation in the cities of Santa Fe. After the respective signatures, Gonnet specified that “agreements were signed on two specific issues: one for the Las Parejas, Rafaela, Tostado and Gálvez bus terminals; and another that has to do with our Ministry because we have an area called Active Mobility, which is a project on safe road networks, specifically bicycle lanes.” Meanwhile, González del Pino specified that “agreements were signed between the National Ministry of Transportation and seven municipalities in the province, for around 926 million pesos of investment”; and highlighted that "as Governor Omar Perotti asks us, the idea is to continue articulating between the Nation, Province and Municipalities, the different programs and projects that exist in each of the national ministries, and these agreements are the result of that mandate that we gives the governor.” For his part, Minister Guerrera explained: “We are working in coordination with Governor Omar Perotti, based on proposals that date back many years, to provide solutions. In this case, for seven locations in the province, working on the renovation and construction of new bus terminals and a network of safe roads. All actions that are part of the Transportation Modernization Plan, which we carry out from the Ministry, to improve the quality of life of our neighbors." It should be noted that the agreements are part of the current Public Passenger Transport Nodal Infrastructure (PIN) and Safe Road Network programs of the Ministry of Transportation; and were signed by the national minister and the mayors of Las Parejas, Horacio Compagnucci; Gálvez, Mario Fissore; Rafaela, Luis Castellano; Esperanza, Ana Meiners; Tosted, Enrique Mualem; Pérez, Pablo Corsalini; and Reconquista, Amadeo Enrique Vallejos. Also present were the Secretary of Transportation of the Nation, Diego Giuliano; and the National Director of Works Development of the Ministry of Transportation, Francisco Echarren.
