The provincial government will carry out the bidding ceremony for the construction of a primary and secondary school in the capital city of the San Salvador department. The official budget exceeds 457 million pesos. On October 27, the offers will be announced.
The new building, whose covered area will be 1,122 m2, will be located on Calle 9 de Julio, between Avenida Artigas and Francisco Malarin streets in the city of San Salvador. With an official budget of 457,303,339 million pesos and an execution period of 365 calendar days, the Ministry of Planning, Infrastructure and Services published the respective call.
The opening of envelopes will be on October 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Municipality of San Salvador, located at 104 Urquiza Street in the city of San Salvador.
Details of the work
The work to be carried out consists of the construction of a new building, which is resolved on the ground floor. It has two entrances on 9 de Julio Street, in addition to an administrative area, and four premises for management, secretariat, teachers room and student center.
The social area consists of a multipurpose room, located in the finishing or culmination area of ??the building, from where you can access a dining room, kitchen and storage room with its own toilet. The private area consists of four workshop classrooms, six classrooms, and two sanitary groups connected to each other by a semi-covered circulation. It will also feature a green space and patio space.
For the construction of this building, double exterior masonry of 0.27mt of 0.08mt hollow ceramic brick will be used on its entire exterior and interior face of 0.12mt thick plastered hollow brick with an air chamber with expanded polyethylene of a density of 12Kg/m3.
As for the structural part, we will work with bases, columns, and reinforced concrete beams, which must be calculated by the construction company. The roof will be made of BWG No. 25 sinusoidal galvanized sheet metal, on a metal structure, with a plasterboard ceiling in classrooms and workshops; sandwich panel in SUM and galleries; H°° slab in main entrance hall and SUM entrance
The carpentry will be made of ALUAR aluminum, Módena line in windows, No. 18 sheet metal in doors and wood in plate doors, according to carpentry plans. The covered area will be 1,122 m2.
