The Social Benefits Of The Greater Abuja Water Supply Project. As elucidated in a document from the Chinese Embassy, the social benefits of the project include, improving the living standards of the people. We will accomplish this by expanding and commissioning water supply pipelines. The project addresses the final “mile” of the water supply system. This expansion effectively eliminates the long-standing water shortage issue in the capital area. It will contribute to an enhancement in the quality of life and health of its residents. The project increases the city’s water supply capacity from 240,000m3/d to 720,000m3/d. Another aim of this endeavor is to ensure the provision of safe, dependable, and ample water resources to the residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The main objective of this initiative is to enhance the FCT’s water supply capacity significantly, more than doubling it from the current 240,000 cubic meters per day (m3/d) to an impressive 720,000 cubic meters per day (m3/d). To achieve this goal.
