University of Houston begins construction on $65M technology building 2 in Sugar Land
Exciting changes are underway at the University of Houston Sugar Land Campus with the construction of the impressive Technology Building-Sugar Land Academic Building 2 (SAB2). This three-story marvel, spanning 75,000 square feet, marks a significant milestone in the University of Houston Sugar Land Campus expansion.
Jay Neal, associate vice president, of academic affairs, and chief operating officer for UH at Sugar Land, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating that the new building will not only accommodate the growing needs of the university but also strengthen its technology-driven initiatives. This forward-thinking approach is in line with UH’s strategic vision to elevate its standing among the top 50 public universities in the nationThis major project follows the strategic decision by the University to merge its College of Technology and College of Engineering, solidifying its position as the third-largest engineering college in Texas.
