The provincial government, through the Provincial Execution Unit, called for bids for the Design and Construction of the complementary entrance works to the “Comodoro Pierrestegui” Airport in the city of Concordia. The official budget exceeds 1.8 billion pesos.

The opening of envelopes will take place on October 19 at 11 at the facilities of the Provincial Execution Unit (Libertad 86 in the city of Paraná), while offers will be received until October 18 at 11 also in the UEP.
The estimated period of design and execution of the works is twelve (12) months, with a budget that amounts to 1,815,263,179.06 pesos.
Details of the work
This project considers the design and construction of the new South Access to the “Comodoro Juan José Pierrestegui” Airport, which is currently undergoing expansion and refunctionalization work, and whose magnitude leads to the need to generate complementary works to improve access and circulation in the area. neighboring
To do this, and using the layout of the existing road, the intersection with Rosch Avenue will be modified, hierarchizing it and generating a roundabout with a registered diameter of 50 meters.
This requires intervening on the Avenue to generate the entry and exit branches, reconstructing their structural package and adapting the existing islands and curbs. Meanwhile, for the access road, the reconstruction of the structural package is proposed, contemplating the construction of sidewalks, lighting and the construction of a sewer.
Next to the roundabout, the construction of an access portico is contemplated, which in addition to having the corresponding entrance signage, will have toilet blocks for public use in the Liquidámbar Park area.
In addition, it is planned to create a new entry/egress road called “Northern Airport Access”, from RN N°A051 to the northern entrance and then, from there, to the Airport parking lot.
The intersection with the National Route will be at a type T level with left and right turn lanes in both directions. This work involves a widening and geometric adaptation of the existing layout along with the construction of islands to channel turning movements. Up to the northern end, a 7.3 meter wide road is proposed for a length of 600 meters to the airport access gate.
From this access it is considered to connect with the airport parking through a paved road with the same characteristics as the previous one with an approximate length of 1600 meters. To complete these sectors, it is necessary to construct three culverts, lighting at intersections, and curbs for docks and islands. The following image shows the sector described.
The proposal is aligned with the project of the Municipality of Concordia, where it is planned to continue the path from the northern head to the “La Tortuga Alegre” spa, so that in the future the route can continue to be developed up to this point.
