Work Detail Construction is now officially underway for the visionary $50-million Pan-African Heritage Museum project nestled in the heart of Pomadze within the Effutu Municipality of Ghana’s Central Region. The museum will be situated just one kilometer uphill from the Winneba Junction. This state-of-the-art museum aspires to bridge educational and historical divides exacerbated by miseducation and suppression, offering a common space for people of African descent. This ultramodern facility aims to become a timeless pilgrimage site, offering opportunities for healing and inspiration. The facility would be an extensive platform for unlearning and relearning authentic African history, thoughtfully curated by Africans themselves. Proposed Completion Date For The Construction Of Pan-African Heritage Museum. DW Construction Limited plans to complete the ambitious project in two and a half years. The journey of this monumental initiative began in April 2021 when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led the groundbreaking ceremony. This ceremony marked a significant step toward the realization of this cultural gem. For the construction of the Pan-African Heritage Museum, a virtual version is readily accessible. It showcases the rich tapestry of African history. For example, arts, culture, sciences, religions, and technologies – spanning from ancient civilizations to contemporary Pan Africa. The Pan-African Heritage Museum complex encompasses a one-acre, five-story museum; a three-acre Herbal Plants Village complete with chalets; a conference hall; food establishments; restaurants; an African kingdoms palace; a Pan-African cuisine court; the Pan-African Heroes and Heroines Park; a library; an innovation and convention center; and a Hall of Fame. Ezoic Professor Kojo Yankah is the visionary behind the Africanists Museum and founder of the African University College of Communications (AUCC). He underscores that this museum will serve as a conduit for people of African descent. Particularly they will unearth and reestablish their roots and cultural legacy. In fact, it aims to illuminate the remarkable contributions of African cultures and civilizations to global affairs. “The Pan-African Heritage Museum’s mission is to create an environment for people of African descent and all others to discover and experience the true history of the origins of humanity,” stated Professor Yankah. “It serves as an inspiration for generations to come.” The Pan-African Heritage Museum promises to be a cultural and educational treasure, dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Africa’s rich heritage. It would be fostering unity and understanding among people of African descent across the globe.
