Mysuru-based Kaynes Technology (KTL) is planning to set up a semiconductor assembly parts, testing facility and printed circuit board (PCB) unit on the outskirts of Mysuru in Karnataka.
KTL has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for this purpose, in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Information Technology & BioTechnology, Minister Priyank Kharge.
The state government will support the development of the electronics system and design manufacturing (ESDM) sector, thus adding employee opportunities in the city.
KTL is engaged with ISRO projects and has supplied power packages to the Chandrayaan-3 mission, which has been of use in powering the missions lander and rover. |
