Godawari Electric Motors plans to invest Rs 100 crore over the next three years to develop new electric products and expand its dealer network across the country.
The investment will be towards new product development as well as expansion of sales infrastructure. The Raipur-based firm, which made its foray into the electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of ‘Eblu Feo’, would further strengthen its network to 50 dealers by September-end, and 100 dealers by the end of the current financial year (FY).
With a production capacity of 4,000 e-scooter units per month at its plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the company envisions selling 12,000-15,000 units by the end of the ongoing FY.
Besides, the company plans to introduce another e-scooter over the next six months. |
