The Sociedad de Fomento del Barrio El Ombú submits to popular consultation its project to erect a first aid room on the site. The neighborhood is the last of the urban fabric of Pueblo Nuevo, separated by just over a thousand meters from the entrance to Cortinez. It is worth noting that in the last two decades, when from the Defensores Club to the neighborhood there were only fields, there was a continuity of urbanizations that, beginning with the El Solar neighborhood, made the entire network unite by population today. Whats more, El Ombú has grown a lot demographically in the last couple of decades.
The construction of a CAPS in the neighborhood would decompress the situation in the Santa María First Aid Room that works next to the San Antonio de Padua Chapel in Pueblo Nuevo and was built at the initiative of a group of residents of that town. In an eventual new peripheral center, families could be served not only from the El Ombú neighborhood but also from El Molino, El Triángulo, the Beláustegui neighborhood and rural areas.
