The company responsible for the dredging work of the capital port appealed the precautionary measure presented by the mayor of Rawson Damián Biss.
The company Sudelco SA, in charge of dredging the port of Rawson, filed an appeal against the precautionary measure that suspended the execution of the work. The presentation was made last week before the Trelew Court of Appeals with the sponsorship of the lawyer Diego Martínez Zapata.
The Chamber summoned the mayor of Rawson, Damián Biss, to present the laboratory results of the samples from the coastal sector where the dredge was overturned.
In addition, it issued a letter to the Ministry of Infrastructure so that, within three days, it informs it if it complied with all the control obligations set forth in resolution No. 72 of 2023 and requested the Ministry of the Environment to report if the substances discharged at sea, by Sudelco SA/Servimagnus SA in the aforementioned work, are included in those provided for in article 47 of Law XI Nø35.
After the parties reply, the Appeals Chamber will have three days to decide whether or not to continue the work.
For their part, residents of the spa town will meet in the next few hours to learn about what has been done so far and the measures to follow. |
