The president of IAPV, Marcelo Bisogni met with the head of CARU, José Lauritto, who learned about the call for tenders for the construction of the UNER residence and the paving of the road network of the organizations neighborhoods in Concepción del Uruguay.

These works were processed during the past management of the former mayor and will be executed with provincial financing.
At the end of the meeting, which took place at the agencys headquarters, Bisogni said that "with funds from the provincial government, 100 blocks of rigid pavement and complementary works will be tendered in the southwestern sector of the city of Concepción del Uruguay."
He indicated that "these works will improve the connectivity of the almost 900 housing units built by the IAPV, which will have a great impact on the daily life of the residents since it will facilitate the movement of vehicles, access to public services, complete circuits and strengthen neighborhood integration.»
Regarding the student residence that will be tendered for UNER students in Concepción del Uruguay, he said that "they will have a ground floor with common spaces and three floors, to accommodate up to 30 students."
He assured that “on the ground floor, an accessible base module will be located; a social area as a gathering space for students with a dining room, reading, playful and recreational area. In addition, it will have a service sector, with a kitchen/laundry room for common use and lockers for the individual storage of student supplies.
«On the upper floors, there will be rooms for individual use or shared by two students, with their own balconies. There will be a common bathroom area on each of the floors and a stair core as vertical circulation," Bisogni said.
For his part, Lauritto highlighted "the importance of the university movement in our city, which is very large since there are more than 110 university degrees and a great expansion of enrollment has been generated with the Medicine degree."
In this sense, he valued "the efforts carried out by the rector of Uner, Andrés Sabella so that the construction of a university residence in Concepción del Uruguay can be carried out, since it will enable students from other cities in the province and from other neighboring countries can study in our city”.
"We know that university students must overcome the difficult decision of looking for a place to live during the course of their career and the question of residence is a priority," he said.
He also expressed: "We are very grateful that Governor Gustavo Bordet has taken this issue on the agenda and the predisposition of the IAPV authorities, to be able to resolve the legal and technical aspects in order to be able to carry out this project."
Regarding the paving of the housing groups that the IAPV executed, Lauritto pointed out that "it is a pending matter that had been left over from my previous administration as mayor and that we have advanced with the current municipal president Martín Oliva to work jointly with the provincial government with the objective of improving the quality of life of the residents of these neighborhoods”.
He celebrated the execution of these works, since it will favor communication, helping the growth of economic and commercial activity in the area, having a more orderly and safe transit.
