Minda Corporation has won a Rs 750-crore contract from a leading automobile manufacturer for the production of battery chargers for electric vehicles (EVs).
The manufacturing will be carried out at the auto components maker’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Spark Minda Green Mobility Systems facility at Pune.
While Spark Minda has a robust EV product portfolio, with EVs accounting for nearly 20 percent of the total orders won, this project will further solidify its efforts in sustainable and connected mobility to cater to the evolving requirements of the automotive industry. |
