Work Detail HCA Florida commenced the construction on the new $12M emergency department building in Santa Rosa County, Florida, on Tuesday. The 11,000-square-foot free-standing emergency department building is strategically positioned on the Northeast corner of U.S. Highway 90 and Pea Ridge Connector Road. Its primary objective is to cater to the medical needs of an underserved population and visitors who require immediate attention for urgent medical emergencies. The establishment of this facility is expected to help individuals facing critical medical situations that cannot be postponed for assistance from a doctor’s office or overcrowded medical facilities. The new clinic, located at 4610 Pea Ridge Connector Road, will be conveniently situated just 12 miles away from HCA Florida West Hospital. The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by numerous government authorities and HCA Florida West personnel. All of whom expressed their enthusiasm for this upcoming project. Donna Tucker, CEO of the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, emphasized HCA Florida West Hospital’s unwavering dedication to the community. She stated, “We know firsthand the commitment that HCA Florida West Hospital has for our community. We are excited about the construction of this new facility in the center of Santa Rosa County, which will not only benefit our current residents but, as a chamber, also serve as a great recruiting tool as we warmly welcome new businesses and residents.” The new $12M emergency department in Santa Rosa will offer a variety of services The clinic is anticipated to commence operations in the first quarter of 2024 and will operate 24 hours a day. It will feature 11 private beds to accommodate patients. Along with state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory and imaging capabilities such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and digital X-rays. CEO Gabe Bullaro affirmed the clinic’s commitment to providing quality care by accepting the majority of major medical insurance policies. Furthermore, the clinic aims to collaborate with local schools. They will offer guidance and educational opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing healthcare careers. With an investment of $12 million, this state-of-the-art clinic represents a remarkable advancement in healthcare services.
