Work Detail Another solar PV plant is to built in Mauritius which is expected to provide electricity to at least 4,500 homes. Construction of the plant in Arsenal, located about 10km north of the capital Port Louis, is to be completed this year. It should contribute to the reduction of more than 13,000 tons of C02 per year. Local media reported the project was agreed on between the countrys Central Electricity Board (CEB) and a renewable energy producer. The maximum capacity of the farm will be 13.86MW which will be connected to the national grid via the Jinfei substation through a dedicated 22kV distribution line. The project will cost an estimated €7.5 million ($8.2m).
