Moller – Maersk, has secured a long-term deal for training services with Sapura Drilling, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sapura Energy Berhad. According to Maersk Training, this Training Management Services (TMS) global partnership with Sapura Drilling, will enable it to be the tender-assisted drilling (TAD) rig owner’s “strategic and primary” training provider. Dale Hart, Head of HR at Sapura Drilling, remarked: “Training and development is an important aspect of our operations to create and maintain a high-performing workforce. It is critical to ensure our team can continue to deliver on our promises to clients and live up to our core values. I believe our partnership with Maersk Training will help us to achieve these objectives.” Sapura Drilling has 11 TADs in its fleet along with nearly 50 years of drilling experience in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
