They will be installed on the property of more than 40 hectares that the Municipality acquired to the north of the city.
The preparation of the project was in charge of the team of the National Entity of Water Sanitation Works (ENOHSA), and the Municipality collaborated with the logistical aspects, accompanying the professionals who carried out the work in the city. The realization of the same had been confirmed on November 30 of last year, in a meeting held in his office by the Mayor Marcelo Borghesan together with Carlos Torres, Manager of the Mesopotamian Delegation of ENOHSA, accompanied by the Secretary of Public Works and Services, Luis Bognanno, Councilor Jorge Salvat, among others.
The project "Transferring treatment lagoons" details in its descriptive memory that the vast majority of the population has sewer services, which flow into two modules of lagoons strategically distributed in the town. Currently, one of the lagoon blocks is very close to groups of houses, which have demanded a solution to problems of odors, discomfort, and lack of comfort by having this system in the immediate vicinity. Population growth in recent years has caused the town to encounter this problem, increasing, as well as disagreements, in times of high winds and rains, where mainly the environmental odor is not pleasant.
It includes the sewage effluent transfer network that reaches the land from the existing lagoons to the new location of the lagoons, and the projection of two lagoon modules for sewage treatment. Currently, this lagoon module treats the effluents of half the population, so the calculations will also be for half the inhabitants and their projection. The final disposal, after treatment, of the current lagoons is a natural runoff, which discharges into the Chajarí stream. This will also be the final disposal of the new lagoons.
It also indicates that the future lagoons will be projected, in two modules in series, carrying out in the first instance a module that will work for the future population in 10 years, and the other module will be planned to be built after these 10 years, where it must be evaluated. the operation of the existing module to be able to make changes or improvements for a more precise operation. Being the design period of 20 total years.
The work will consist in the beginning with a chamber with bars that receives the effluent of the population through a 700mm PRFV pipe working under gravity, where a barrier can be made for those unwanted elements in the lagoons (or that cannot be eliminated by this lagoon process), followed by a splitting chamber, where, in the first instance, a single outlet will remain in operation, later an anaerobic lagoon with two parallel inlets will be found for a better transfer of effluent, avoiding short circuits and dead zones in the lagoons, followed by a facultative lagoon to conclude the treatment of sewage effluents, also with two parallel entrances and exits. The official budget is $592,810,705.60.
The purchase of the land where the lagoons will be installed was approved in a special session that took place on September 28 of last year. The councilors approved Ordinance No. 2726 which, in its article 1, ratifies, as indicated in Ordinance No. 2622, and authorizes the purchase, directly, of the more than 40 hectares, in which the Municipality invested 94 million pesos of municipal resources.
In this sense, the Municipal Executive Department was authorized to carry out all the corresponding administrative procedures in order to complete the procedures and perfect the act of buying and selling. The property, it should be added, belonged to the Perero family, and is located in the Chajarí ejido, in Colonia Villa Libertad, in Chacra 66, with a parcel address at Calle Lombardía s/n. |
