On May 2, the construction of the maneuvering beach located in Añelo, the town adjacent to the Vaca Muerta deposits, was awarded. The works will be carried out by the Joint Venture Lemiro Pablo Pietroboni SA – Sabavisa SA. As reported by the head of the State Railway Infrastructure Administration, Silvestre Joel Fontana, the movement of soils begins in 15 days.
Among the offers that had been defined as admissible for the bidding, the Pietroboni-Sabavisa Joint Venture submitted the lowest offer: 1,465,854,621.44 pesos + VAT. In dollars, the offer is U$S 791,660.51 + VAT.
The work will be located on the plateau 12 kilometers from Añelo, parallel to Provincial Route 17 and close to Loma Campana, YPFs main development in the region. In a first stage, the three roads will be built with their corresponding detours and manual drives, including the operational building, access roads and circulation of heavy vehicles, drains and lighting.
The work that was awarded has an execution period of about 18 months. «In parallel, or halfway, we understand that the connections of the kilometers to be built will also begin to be made, but I suppose that next year will be a year of work, only in 2025 will we be able to see the train working”, assured the referent in dialogue with AM Cumbre.
The work on the maneuvering yard of the North Patagonian corridor will be connected to a new railway branch to be built between Contraalmirante Cordero and Añelo. Said branch, in turn, will connect with the tracks between Contraalmirante Cordero and Bahía Blanca of the General Roca railway. These will be reconditioned as well as those that join Ferri, Cipolletti and Cinco Saltos.
It is about 77 kilometers of roads to be built. In this regard, the referent reported that “it is already closed. There is a public-private fund.
