This was confirmed by the architect Hugo Gómez, Secretary of Planning and Urban Development, on AIRE LIBRE FM: "It is an emblematic work for Tolhuin with an investment of close to $100 million made with own funds, expanding the feasibility of gas for the city ”. This directly benefits some 200 residents, and new neighboring developments.
"We are trying to make as much progress as possible before the winter closure to carry out the trunks, if possible, of what would be the provision of gas infrastructure for the Ex-slaughterhouse, Campo de Doma neighborhoods, but at the same time this also gives us the possibility of being able to extend what would be the feasibility and the future work of the Procrear neighborhood, with which we already have the authorization of Camuzzi, lets say, to be able to carry out this work and to be able to bid for it,” said Gómez.
And he added that “the stages of the work, as I had been mentioning, is first to carry out the reinforcements and at the same time to be able to go down what would be the niches. Why the niches? It is because the winter season is approaching and the important thing would be to work and bring forward what would be the concreting due to some issue of cold. In parallel, they are also going to try to settle down ”.
The architect defined the work as "emblematic" with respect to what is infrastructure in Tolhuin. Gómez indicated that “it will have a term of approximately 270 days and an amount of almost 100 million pesos that come from municipal funds. The famous law 1300 that Daniel managed during his time in the legislature, which allowed us to guarantee such a large work for this city, which would not only be the policy of being able to bring natural gas to these two neighborhoods, but also to expand what would be the gas feasibility for the whole city”.
"This work benefits approximately 180 residents, but it is also very likely that we would be indirectly benefiting what would be the Nuevo Khami neighborhood and new developments, which are approximately 48 more residents," he said.
The official said that "this also allows us to lower the demand for firewood by bringing natural gas, we also guarantee a service that we understand that in the province and also in the locality it is an essential service, the quality changes of life to the same families, also in the case that they have a gas voucher or that they are with a bottle, that also reduces what would be the monthly cost of consumption”.
Finally, the architect said that "this will also allow us to connect those sections of 100 or 200 meters in neighborhoods such as Provincias Unidas or 9 de Octubre".
Regarding the creation of curbs and paving, Gómez pointed out that "the next step is to lower the paving, as well as for each neighborhood to have its square and have this for public transport, that is the approach in each neighborhood where we have worked" . |
