The Paseo de la Laguna on the Costanera Kirchner was awarded for $833 million and the signing of the Nation agreement is expected to authorize the construction company

In what was announced as a key work for the management of the municipal Executive, the work on the new Costanera Kirchner, which has already been tendered, is one step away from starting after the different feasibility works and the tender awarded for 833 million pesos with national funds. .
The idea of ??the municipality was always to crown the celebrations of the 450 years of the city of Santa Fe to be fulfilled on November 15 with the inauguration of the work that had been announced with great fanfare by the Executive after having obtained the Nation financing through the Public Works portfolio.
What remains for the start of works that will have the firm Coemyc SA as the main actor is the referral of the macro agreement by the Nation that enables the municipality to sign the contract with the construction company to which the works were awarded.
The project
The ambitious work will allow the materialization of the water infrastructure (fenders), road (streets and parking lots) and bicycle pedestrian infrastructure (cycle path and sidewalks) of the promenade, in order to guarantee a passable, connected and safe circuit for pedestrians and cyclists.
The projects general objective is to facilitate physical and symbolic links between them, as well as with the consolidated city. Also generate a continuous route, linking the best visuals of the Santa Fe landscape of the lagoon. In this line, the materialization of the water and road infrastructure is intended for the consolidation of the Costanera Néstor Kirchner and the incorporation of a bicycle-pedestrian path on the Av. Costanera Este in order to complete a coastal walk.
This project is part of a larger urban strategy carried out by the municipal management called "City, Water and Landscape". Within this framework, a set of works is contemplated that are linked to each other, generating a sustainable walk around the lagoon and guaranteeing accessibility to the facilities present in the area, including the El Pozo neighborhood and the University City.
– Water defense: 127.72 linear meters of slope covered with a blanket of reinforced concrete blocks and 306 linear meters of slope covered with reindeer-type mats filled with stones that resolves a level difference of 4.50 m, allowing it to grow small-scale vegetation along the slope.
– Storm drains: rainwater is projected to be conducted to storm drains through a gutter cord. The main drainage pipes discharge on the beach towards the Setúbal lagoon.
– Roadways: one lane for going and one for coming back, 3.50 m wide each.
– Parking: 13 parallel vehicle parking bays, 103 vehicle parking bays at 45 degrees on an absorbent surface, five spaces for motorcycles and seven bicycle racks.
– Bike path: 700 m of round trip bike path resolved in 2.40 m width on the Néstor Kirchner waterfront.
– Sidewalks: 706.47 linear meters with 7 m wide (4,473.82 m²) forested (it is estimated to place 78 native trees to guarantee the shade of the sidewalks) on the north side and 629.50 linear meters with 1.40 m wide (816.34 m²) on the south side of the Néstor Kirchner waterfront (it is estimated to place 70 native trees to guarantee shade on the sidewalks)
– Green flower bed with furniture: 520 linear meters with 5 m width in the central sector (1,971.34 m²) with afforestation (it is estimated to place 78 native trees), reinforced concrete benches that accompany the flower beds along their entire length, four drinkers.
– Coastal Promenade at beach level: 320 linear meters with 2.50 m width in the main section (787.94 m²) made of asphalt pavement on the lining of the slope to withstand the floods and downspouts.
– LED lighting: 34 street lighting columns will be placed with a lighting arm towards the bike path and sidewalk and 24 low lighting columns for pedestrian paths. Both types of columns will have led lighting fixtures.
