Space Commercial Complex will cover an area of 6 acres Gates Developments will start construction of its 5 billion Egyptian pound ($162 million) Space Commercial Complex in Sixth of October City, West Cairo in mid-2023, the company CEO said. Hassan Nasr told Zawya Projects that the project spans an area of 6 acres in Sheikh Zayed City and comprises 17 independent buildings housing shops, offices and clinics. “Construction will start by mid-2023 and be completed within 40 months, he said, adding that the project would be completed in four phases. Raef Fahmi Architects is the project designer, he said. “This is our third time working with Inversion Consultancy and Raef Fahmy Architects as we believe in their talents and have achieved remarkable success working with them,” he said. Nasr said “five well-known global brands” have booked units in the new project and were allowed to customise their units in terms of design and space as per their requirements in the early stage.
