It has been designed to elevate the city’s cultural and historical heritage, improve the quality of life for its residents, and enrich the visitor experience for Islamic pilgrims. It will also feature new modes of transportation and parking to provide easy access to the Prophet’s Mosque, surrounding residences, and commercial spaces. Rua Al Madinah will host 47,000 hotel rooms to help accommodate the 30 million Islamic pilgrims that will visit the city in the coming years. RAMH anticipates a daily cumulative visitor capacity of 149,000. As much as 83,000 m2 of the project’s master plan will consist of green areas, with open and green spaces comprising 63% of the project’s total land area. What is Rua Al Madinah?
