IRCON Renewable Power Limited (IRPL) has floated bids for the hiring of a project management consultant for a 500 MW grid-connected solar project in Pavagada, Karnataka. The project manager’s responsibilities comprise establishing communication procedures, monitoring project progress, preparing reports, monitoring quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance, monitoring procurement plans, and issuing work completion and material delivery certificates. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 55.7 million. The project must be finished by September 2024.
The bidder participation fee is Rs 20,000. According to the tender guidelines, bidders must submit a Rs 796,200 earnest money deposit. The chosen consultant must provide performance security equal to 3 per cent of the work cost. The micro and small enterprises (MSEs) registered under the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum will not be required to pay bidding fees or earnest money deposits. There will be no exceptions in terms of performance security. Bidders must have provided consultancy services for three similar projects totalling at least Rs 20.88 million, two similar projects totaling at least Rs 27.84 million, or one similar project totalling at least Rs 41.77 million.
Recently in November 2022, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited invited bids for the balance of system (BoS) package to establish 1,000 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects anywhere in Karnataka. The wind project’s scope of work comprises design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning. |
