The standard clauses that will make it easier for buyers to prepare their tenders were updated on December 30, 2022 with the acknowledgment of the Comptrollers Office.
The use of the Standard Bases has been promoted by the Comptroller General of the Republic and the National Economic Prosecutors Office as an instrument to promote competition and reduce corruption. These documents, in which the administrative aspects have been established by ChileCompra and validated by the Comptroller General of the Republic, are provided to public buyers to prepare their public tenders.
In this way, the person in charge of carrying out the acquisitions can concentrate on the technical aspects of the purchase, adapting the bidding conditions to their needs, without incurring all the administrative costs involved in carrying out a tender, such as the taking of reason of the bases.
In total, there are already Standard Bases available for buyers to carry out their tenders, the latest being the second version of the Standard Base for the project acquisition service for the development and maintenance of computer systems . The main changes are an update of the administrative clauses and the simplification of the standard format.
It should be remembered that these documents are available in two formats: pdf, with the swearing-in stamps of the Comptrollers Office that must be published without changes, and in editable word format that allows the specific technical requirements of the purchase to be incorporated into the annexes. |
