The works will be carried out in the districts of La Matanza, General Pueyrredón and Morón with an investment of over 250 million pesos.
The Provincial Agency for Social and Urban Integration (OPISU) announced the call for public tender for the execution of works to improve public spaces in popular neighborhoods of La Matanza, General Pueyrredón and Morón.
This is the "Commercial Reactivation Av. Colonia y Av. Crovara" project in the district of La Matanza, whose objective includes the enhancement of the sector and the strengthening of the commercial character of the area. Within this framework, work will be carried out on the construction of sidewalks, ramps, signaling of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, placement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic lights, consolidation of loading and unloading docks, trees and public lighting.
In Morón, meanwhile, the "Work to Enhance Public Space and Gardel Market Fronts" will be carried out in the Carlos Gardel neighborhood. This is a proposal that includes the construction of sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, vehicle parking areas and loading and unloading docks; the placement of lighting, trees and street furniture; and the construction of a fair space, green areas, a playground for children and a sports center. In this way, the aim is to convert the Market area into a walk and recreation area for the residents.
Finally, the agency called again the tender for the works corresponding to the "Improvement of Public Space" in the Autodromo neighborhood in the city of Mar del Plata, a work in which the construction of sidewalks, gutter curbs, accessibility ramps will be carried out , recreation spaces, placement of lights and afforestation tasks. The works will favor the community integration of the 3,900 residents of the neighborhood.
In this way, the agency will finance works for more than 250 million pesos.
