More than $100 million will be invested in sewage works for Oro Verde
Governor Gustavo Bordet was in Oro Verde, where the envelopes for sewage works in El Triangular neighborhood were opened. He also signed agreements for an expansion of the Community Integration Center, urban paving and repair of sidewalks in that locality of the Paraná department.
In this context, the provincial president referred to the joint work with the neighborhood mayor of that town, Oscar Toledo. He explained that the works in progress are part of "a work agenda that is well defined, with priorities set by the mayor," and stressed that "it is a methodology that we use with all the municipalities of the province and it gives us very good result: we work with all mayors, neighborhood, justice and together.
"Entre Ríos is a province that has 75 municipalities, 53 communes and many government boards, it needs to be addressed in its extension and we are fulfilling our objectives, it is the way of working together and seeking the progress of our neighbors," Bordet assured.
The president opened the envelopes of the public tender for the work of El Triangular Storm Drains, with an investment of more than 102 million pesos. The bidders who submitted proposals were Daniel Baron Constructora SA; Piazza; Antonin SA; Engineer Quaranta S.A.
It also signed the agreement for the expansion of the Community Integration Center (CIC), and for the resurfacing and adaptation of sidewalks, public lighting and urban equipment. In addition, it delivered a contribution from the provincial government to the National, Provincial and Municipal Retirees Center of Oro Verde for the acquisition of construction materials.
The president said that in this way, "continuity is given to the agenda drawn up in previous meetings" and recalled that the mayor prioritized certain works "to improve the quality of life of the neighbors, among them, this work of storm drains in the neighborhood The triangle”. He recalled that "we had been touring it" and the mayor showed him "the importance of the work for the people." In this framework, he mentioned that "for this work that largely exceeds 100 million pesos, the opening of offers is being made to start very soon."
On the other hand, he mentioned that "we are also celebrating an urban paving and sidewalk arrangement agreement that also exceeds 100 million pesos, where the province contributes 70 percent and the municipality 30 percent."
In addition, "we are expanding the agreement for an expansion of the Oro Verde health center and contributions for the retirement center."
Referring to the great works for the localities, he mentioned that "here is a great project that we have been seeking financing for years, it is the aqueduct that will come from the water intake in Paraná and that can supply fresh water to Colonia Avellaneda, San Benito, Willow Montrull and Oro Verde”, he specified.
“Today, due to a decision by President (Alberto) Fernández, this aqueduct is already under construction, it is underway,” stressed the president and added: “In the coming months, the residents of everything that the Paraná belt of towns means are going to have fresh water and this changes the quality of life. The life of each neighbor changes the fact of having quality water that improves peoples health.
He specified that it is "a large-scale work that originally exceeded 2,500 million pesos, and with the updates these figures obviously rise."
In that order, he mentioned works that have linked the towns, such as Route 11 with access through Avenida De las Américas, which “was extremely necessary to do and today it is finished. “All these works are done with financing from the province, but there is also an important contribution from the municipality. Sometimes with counterparts and many other times with logistics that are used to contract and materialize the works”, closed the president.

Expected works
For his part, the mayor of Oro Verde, Oscar Toledo, thanked the presence of Governor Gustavo Bordet and stressed that “despite not being of the same political suit, we have always been able to work together in the best way. That is totally valuable in these times: that you as governor of the province take into account all the municipalities regardless of the party that governs there.
After that, he valued the works that were signed and highlighted that one of them is "long-awaited by the town, which is the application of our Health Center, which is very necessary since we have not only to serve the people of Oro Verde but also the surrounding ”. Likewise, he referred to another work "long-awaited that with a municipal budget it would be impossible to do, which is the resurfacing of Los Jacarandaes, Los Sauces and Las Golondrinas avenues."
Also, "the work that we have been managing for a long time and your commitment today becomes a reality, which is the work of storm drains in the Triangular Neighborhood," he stressed.
Finally, he thanked that “in these difficult times you have always accompanied us in the best way and we have been able to articulate all the work that we have been doing in the municipality and province and of course that works from the Nation have arrived thanks to you who have helped us with the procedures . Details of the works
The act of opening envelopes for the pluvial drainage work was carried out in the Municipal Palace of Oro Verde, located in Los Zorzales and Los Ceibos, in the city of Oro Verde. With an official budget of 102,706,346.61 pesos, the execution period is set at 360 calendar days.
From the municipality of Oro Verde, department of Paraná, the Hydraulic Directorate was asked to evaluate the systematization project for the canalization, ditch lining of Av. Los Cisnes and household income and Cañada del Bº El Triangular in the town of Oro Verde.
Said request arises due to the flooding suffered by the residents of the southern part of the neighborhood in times of abundant rainfall, of high and medium intensity.
Taking into account this problem, a study of the basin was carried out, verifying the existing channeling, conduit and sewage works and proposing new works capable of evacuating the excess rainfall for a 10-year recurrence design storm.
On the other hand, the agreement for the expansion of the Community Integration Center (CIC), an emergency area and diagnosis of Oro Verde, is for an amount of 72,157,118 pesos.
While the agreement for the resurfacing and refurbishment of sidewalks, public lighting and urban equipment in this town exceeds 100 million pesos, 70 percent of the work is provided by the province and the remaining 30 percent by the municipality of Oro Green. |
