Work Detail The Honduran National Electric Energy Company (ENEE) has announced the guidelines that will govern a program that aims to bring electricity to less favored regions with low purchasing power through microgrids and home photovoltaic systems. The proposal is to implement the entire structure from a consultancy call, whose bidders must comply with certain guidelines. The basis of this program dates back to 2018, when the Honduran government signed a non-reimbursable financing agreement for investment with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Said "Rural Electrification Program in Isolated Places" seeks the development of electricity generation systems in rural places isolated from the interconnected system, which correspond to the construction of generation systems in the towns of Guanaja and Brus Laguna with renewable energy through micro networks. , and residential photovoltaic systems in El Corpus and Concepción de María, department of Choluteca. In the case of electric generation systems through microgrids in the municipalities of Guanaja and Brus Laguna, it is about serving 1,099 homes with a 400 kWp photovoltaic solar system, and a 420 kW/ 1.68 MWh lithium ion energy accumulator, and other items. Meanwhile, in the municipalities of El Corpus and Concepción de María, department of Choluteca, the scope is to cover the installation in 650 homes, at a rate of 368 photovoltaic Wh required per home. This is proposed from a solar kit made up of a panel, battery, inverter, cables and Led lamps, among other elements.
